• Causes of failure: bad design, wrong materials, wrong methods, poor workmanship, lack of supervision, poor maintenance 

• Method statement: you can write on your design a requirement for a site supervisor, proven experience, maintenance  

• Consider putting in an additional fee for you going onto site to check on instillation 

• Bound vs. Unbound construction
