A walk to Greenwich park

For our first week we went on a walk through Greenwich park since the weather was unexpectedly nice. I feel I learn best this way, talking in groups and engaging with the real environment. These experiences ground theory.

  • Sweet chestnut trees have a distinct twist to their trunks

  • I should develop a deep resentment toward grey squirrels as they're driving out the native red squirrel

  • 'Dead' wood usually has great ecological value by providing habitats and nutrients
