Glass Recycling

As proof of concept, I took a few recycled alcohol bottles from a local University student accommodation.

They were soaked in warm water for an hour, and the labels scraped off.

Next the bottle were wrapped in a thick burlap bag and crushed with a hammer outside of the workshop. Eye protection and gloves were worn.

These shards will be used as an aggregate in the physical model.
