Everyone has their own style when approaching a new site.

For me, I find it useful to go in blind to have an authentic first impression. Now that I've cataloged my initial ideas with sketches, notes, and photographs, it's time to map wider context.

I experienced some trouble with the resolution because of the size of the file, but this can be solved by exporting in smaller sections as necessary. I like having a large context map to go back to for anything I may need later.

Digimaps (topography + greenspace) -> autocad (linework + hatching + scale) -> AdobeIllustrator (visual tweaks + further development)
